Why the HVAC system matters
When mold grows in an air handler, drain pan, or duct, the system can carry spores and odors to the rooms it serves. This can be one reason a house smells musty in rooms with no visible problem.
What we look at
- Air handler and evaporator coil area.
- Condensate drain pan and line.
- Supply and return ducts, especially those running through hot attics.
- Returns that pull air from crawl spaces or garages.
What happens next
We document conditions, collect samples where appropriate, and explain the results. If cleaning or repairs are needed, you can take our report to any HVAC or remediation contractor you choose.
