Why post-remediation verification should be independent
Separating verification from remediation avoids a potential financial conflict, because the company evaluating the work does not profit from the remediation. Just Mold Testing never performs remediation.
What we check
- Containment is still in place and undisturbed.
- No visible mold, dust, or debris remains in the work area.
- Moisture readings on repaired materials are checked and recorded.
- Air or surface samples when appropriate, compared with the project criteria and with outdoor or background samples where appropriate.
When to schedule
Book post-remediation verification for the day your contractor says the job is complete, while containment is still up. If the area does not meet the project's verification criteria, the report shows what was found so the contractor can address it and the area can be retested.
